Galápagos Blue Sky

We made the trip end of March. 
At that time there are no albatrosses something we knew. 
Then you don’t walk a circle but return the same way and pass the nesca colony twice. Which is great. Time enough to take pictures. No hurry. Many nesting iguana’s and sealions. 
The snorkling was disappointing. Nothing interesting and visibility poor. 
Boat and food was very good. 
Inspite of bad snorkling and absence of albatrosses worth the trip.

I had an amazing time on both tours and can´t thank Blue Sky enough for calling me when i hadn´t arrived in time for the tour (i was at the wrong location). Due to their timely warning, i managed to grab a taxi and get to the tour anyway.
I also really enjoy the ability to pay by cart and the digital and physical invoice that you receive with all the needed information.

Long trip but so worth it! So many fish in clear water. And delicious lunch!

The guide was great, knowledgeable and friendly.
The boat was very comfortable and of good quality (much better than others we took).


We got from GBS an upgrade to a luxury boat trip and it was really fantastic compared to the one we had before (seperate feedback).
This one was great a real highlight of our trip.

The trip itself is worthwhile and we had fun and an exiting time - nevertheless I need to mention that for the price Galapagos blue skies got the vessel, the food and the service was unsufficient. 
For half of the price would have been ok - but for this price we had much much better trips already.

360 degrees tour

Overall it was just an okay experience.  i think its over rated, over hyped for what you get.  its a lot of riding around in a boat with not much information provided.  The snorkeling stops were ok, but not great based on other trips we did and were also crowded stops with 3 other boats there.
The stop at kicker rock was supposed to be the highlight, but it was a disappointment.  While the tour provider can't control the weather and visibility, they can time things better.  We arrived later in the day when the current was ripping, this resulted in a disappointing very brief snorkel there.  Had it been better organized (as I saw the next day) it would have been substantially better 

This was the second trip we did with Galapagos Blue Sky.  The first one was a complete fail.  This trip, they used a quality contractor and the experience was very good.  Guide was professional, boat was well maintained and well organized.  Lunch was great.
The only negative to be aware of is that its a 2 hour boat ride each way which leaves a pretty short experience (about 2 1/2 hours) once you get there.  So be prepared for that.

Floreana - Enderby tour

This was probably one of the worst tour packages we have experienced.  To start with, we didn't get the trip we booked, we were put on a different tour and told it was the same (it wasn't).  The guide provided very limited information in English, and spent most of his time removed from all the guests.  Lunch was non-existent due to the guides lack of support.
Overall the worst experience.
Keep in mind, Galapagos Blue Sky is only the tour agent, they sub contract the actual tour to someone else.  But if you use poor quality contractors, you deliver a horrible experience.  For the price of this tour, I would recommend using a different tour agent that provides support and follow up.

Ronald was our guide and he was amazing. The whole trip was amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

One of the best experiences in the Galápagos was visiting North Seymour Island. The wildlife is incredible: blue-footed boobies, frigatebirds, sea lions, and land iguanas everywhere. Walking so close to these animals in their natural habitat was unforgettable. Without a doubt, a must-do excursion if you visit the Galápagos; 100% recommend the Galápagos Blue Sky tour.

It was a lovely day, a beautiful and comfortable boat with a great crew. However, I felt rushed on several occasions, and the instructions for the different activities were unclear. I was told the day would be suitable for young children (4 and 6 years old), but it wasn't at all appropriate for my youngest. I was also told there would be life jackets and other equipment for my children, but they had nothing.

Our original booking to Bartolome was cancelled which was quite stressful. Ended up booking trip to Santa Fe and GBS kindly gave us a discount by way of apology. 

The trip itself ended up being 2 snorkels (we were told it might be 3) but the second snorkel with all the sealion pups was totally amazing and well worth it. It took some time to get the film footage of the trip but this eventually  came thru and was great. So not perfect and some hassle involved but ultimately we had a great trip and I would use GBS again but would definitely confirm the activities of any trip in detail

The trip was excellent and we saw all of the wildlife highlight’s of the island whilst we were there including Blue Footed Boobies. The snorkelling was affected by the current and swell but still spent time
on a spectacular sandy beach. Outside of the trip the area that was not positive was the communication with Blue Sky and the we travel app. The trips are not inexpensive commitments yet there was no confirmation of booking, no payment receipt and no communication from BlueSky until the day before. I had to chase them for information which at this cost is very poor. The same happened on another tour to Bartolome island. Their communication issues do not fill you with confidence. Needs to be addressed for a more professional experience 

Nice tour with a great guide. We have seen Manta Ray, Sea Lion and Sea Turtle. 

TINTORERAS ISLET - NATHALIE HAMEL & GUY BOULANGER

Overall, a wonderful time was had walking the Sierra Negra volcano with Alfredo. Alfredo was incredibly knowledgable and insightful, and I wish I would have had the opportunity to have had more tours with him, as he was one of the best naturalist guides we had during our time in the Galapagos.

The only part of the tour that might be a negative was the group composition, but as any traveller will find out, Blue Sky doesn't have any control over the makeup of your tour.

Volcano tour

Our guide Alejandro was awesome! The staff, food, assistance, snorkeling and info was all top notch! We saw amaziing sights, marine life, birds and rock formations! Afterwards, he uploaded the underwater photos he took with his GoPro, of all of the sea life we saw while snorkeling. He was just the best!! Highly recommend 360 X Cursions, booked through Blue Sky

We had a great time. Knowledgeable guides along with a nice group of guests. My group enjoyed the delicious food. Everyone enjoyed the day. Thanks again.

A truly amazing experience, walking over a lava field is a very special thing to do. Galapagos Blue Sky connects you with the best guides, I did 3 tours with them during my stay in the Galapagos and all of my guides were honesty incredible and so knowledgeable. Highly recommend

Great trip. Saw nest area fir Frigate birds.  Great snorkeling, reef sharks, sting rays and lots of beautiful colourful fish.  Very good lunch, one of the nicest meals of my 2 month trip.  Highly recommend, although too  expensive!

Greetings, valued customer, thank you very much for your honest feedback. Yes, it is true that there are differences in the services included on the various yachts we operate. The one you mentioned with Wi-Fi is likely our first-class catamaran. Yours does not have it because it is our superior yacht, which does not include that service or air conditioning. The itinerary varies depending on the authorization granted by the National Park that day, which could be Sullivan Bay or Golden Beach (Pinnacle Rock). This information is included on your service voucher and in the itinerary details.

Guide and crew were polite and The Bartolome view was incredible. Food was also top notch; However, The other Boat had wifi, and they were snorkeling around the Pinnacle rock while we had to snorkel at the Beach.. The Tour was also 70% travelling, 10% snorkeling and 20% walking. 
Not worth the cost. For 600 USD i would expect more, but i understand the cost is mostly because of the distance.

We had a great time with our group and guide. He took many photos for us. He lead the group at a good pace. Explained the history very well. We also enjoyed the farm visit, where we tried local fruits and learned about farming practices. Enjoyed it, thank you! 

SULFUR MINES (BALANCE)

We booked two day tours through them, Pinzon and Bartelome. The staff was very helpful in identifying different options for each of the tours, describing the differences in the available boats, etc. Both tours were great, just as GBS described.  Very happy with the service. 

PINZÓN & BARTOLOMÉ - DANIEL PEACHEY, MELISSA MILLER, DEAN PEACHEY

We had a wonderful time. We loved the wildlife and the guide. It was the right amount of hiking and swimming. Everything was perfect. 

I had a great time with my Bartolome trip, with Galapagos blue sky. Easy process to book the trip. The boat was nice and the staff was great. Our guide Stephanie was amazing, courteous and professional. Food was also well setup. Strongly recommend this travel agency.

I did two tours with Blue Sky in Santa Cruz. The Bahia tour and San Bartolomé. Everything went very smoothly with them both. This agency came recommended from other agency from San Cristobal since they didn't run tours in Santa Cruz and it didn't disappoint it. 

We had a great time; be aware that there’s an hour-ish boat ride to get there, with four loud outboards. Conversation is difficult, but worth it for the experience. 

Los tuneles snorkel tour

The ferry trip was comfortable and enjoyable from beginning to end. The crew were courteous and attentive to passengers needs throughout the trip. Our disappointment was however with the administration of the tickets. We bought our tickets 2 months in advance, on line. 2 days in advance of our trip, we still had not received any confirmation of our scheduled trip or associated tickets. I contacted the corporate office of Galapagos Blue Sky via both email and WhatsApp in an attempt to confirm our travel plans. I received no response. The morning prior to our trip, I asked our hotel manager to assist us by contacting Blue Sky for confirmation. He graciously agreed and did make contact with Blue Sky, and confirmed we would receive confirmation for our trip during the day whilst away on a tour. When we returned 6 hours later, we still had not received any response. I again went to our hotel manager for assistance yet again. He immediately called Blue Sky in frustration to confirm our plan for the following early morning departure. While the manager was on the phone with Blue Sky expressing his frustration with our dilemma, we received electronic notification with ticket vouchers attached. In closing, the payment process was flawless. The issuance of tickets/ vouchers from Galapagos Blue Sky was a disappointment.

Isabela island to Santa Cruz island

We had a great time using Galapagos Blue Sky for San Cristobal 360, Bartolome Island, Highlands (Santa Cruz), Los Tuneles, Sulfur Mines as well as the inter island ferries. We had booked this tour online from NZ before we left. Excellent communication via WhatsApp- keeping us updated regularly and answered all our questions. We were also able to store our luggage at their office in Puerto Ayora once we checked out. Helpful staff. All tours were well catered well, even as a vegetarian. Had really good snorkelling equipment on all tours. Very happy and would highly recommend.

INCREDIBLE day! The yacht was beautiful, the staff was wonderful and the food was amazing! The view from the top of Pinnacle Rock were amazing and during the snorkeling part we swam with a penguin! Would not change a thing!!!

We booked this tour with Galapagos blue sky because a few friends recommended them so we booked two tours with them.  But this tour wasn’t actually operated by Galápagos Blue Sky - people on the tour are from different bookings.  On our way to Los Tuneles, we saw five / six huge manta rays playing in the water really close to the boat.  I asked if we can stopped the boat for a bit but the answer was no.   The boat and the tour guide seemed just want to get to the place we supposed to go and didn’t want to do anything extra and this was very disappointing.  Afterwards, We spoke to some other people in our hotel - they also saw manta rays and their boat stopped for 20 minutes.  

The trip was well worthwhile to see the Sierra negra crater and views. There was even a free lunch provided for us which wasn’t listed. The guide was very knowledgeable and made sure we made it to the airport for our flight that was scheduled for as soon as the tour was due to be finished and kept the party moving throughout to keep on time.

PINZÓN ISLAND - VIVIANA CORREA & BJÖRN HELLWIG - ENERO 6

Overall, we had a great time and experience, especially on the Santa Fe Island and Bartolome Island tours. The guide on Bartolome Island was amazing, and I really enjoyed this day. I'd recommend these two tours for everyone going to the Galapagos Islands!

However, I'm really disappointed with the tour and the guide of the Bay Tour. The guide didn't speak a lot of English and also didn't share the same information as he shared in Spanish. The snorkeling activity was also not so great compared to the one we did in the previous two tours.
On the Santa Fe tour, we had a bit bitter experience when we were asked to pay an additional fee for the Water Taxi, which wasn't mentioned anywhere, and no one shared anything about it. It turned out that it was included, but I had to go to the office and ask for the money. I think many people didn't do it...

What an amazing time in Pinzon! We saw so many amazing marine animals. Our tour guide was great and the staff on the boat were wonderful. The agency was fantastic to work with and had excellent equipment for snorkeling. We highly recommend! 

We booked the volcano hike for one day and the los tunnels snorkeling for another, had a wonderful time in both! The volcano is absolutely epic landscape and the guide allowed us to eat the fruits from the trees along the way. The boat trip to the snorkeling was bumpy but so worth it, we saw big sea horses, sharks, manta rays, sea turtles and birds like blue footed boobies and nazca boobies.

We had an amazing trip and loved Floreana!  The staff and guides were so helpful and we felt safe at all times

Galapagos Blue Sky is easily the most professional travel organizer in the area and I’ve loved every interaction and every trip  and have done  three with them.They provide you snorkeling gear prior to every trip so you’ll know you’re getting something that works for you.
